The marriage was registered in Ballinrobe Registration
District so they may have been from Co. Mayo.
The registration is available by mail from the Registrar
General's Office on Lombard Street in Dublin. Ask for a
copy of the registration entry, which is cheaper than a marriage
certificate and contains all the same information. I think
the cost of a marriage registration entry is about two euros.
For more details see the registry office website at:
www.groireland.ie
When you make your request you will have to tell them the
names of the bride and groom and that the registration entry is located on page 27 of volume 14 of the 1877 marriages. (I got this from the index).
The registration entry will provide much information, including
the names of the fathers of the bride and groom and the
townland of each (their addresses), the church where the wedding
occurred, the date, witnesses, etc, etc.
Good Luck.
Tom Voyles
