Susan Montgomery listed as matron pre 1865.<p>Can't help with workhouse but the soup pot from the workhouse currently is sitting outside the old corn mill in Drumahaire village. The mill is now used by the Dept of Ancient Monuments. The soup pot stands about 3.5 feet high by 3 feet wide! It must have taken some filling and stirring.
