Mary Lee Dunn has posted a wonderful note of thanks to all involved with the 2002 Ballykilcline Reunion, so I don't want to duplicate her comments. However, I have to share with all of you my feelings about those three wonderful days. It was so good to see participants from earlier reunions and to meet those who joined us for the first time. It sure is nice to be able to put faces with email addresses. The Friends of the Ballykilcline Society went all out to make us welcome once again. They were so warm and helpful. I never thought I would have the opportunity to make friends with Kilglass folks and now we are meeting those great people once again. My husband and I also met other terrific residents from the Strokestown area. The people couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. As I am writing this message, I realize that words are inadequate. John and I had a great two weeks traveling all over Ireland, but it is the contact that we had with the local men and women that made this trip something we will never forget. This is a special group.
