I have just found out that our gggrandmother was from Roscommond. Her death certificate (9 June 1888)states she was in New Orleans for 40 years so she would have left Ireland about 1848. She was born abt 1832. When she married our gggrandfather, Henrich Riecke (from Oldenburg, Germany) in 1852 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the marriage licence states that she was a widow (Mrs. Mary Flanagan Stephan). Any information and help on how and where to go from here would be gratefully accepted.<br>Karen Riecke
