My grandmother Mary Wynne emigrated from Ireland c1890/3. Married a John Cassidy (my grandfather) before emigrating. The problem is family lure says that John's name was not Cassidy but some other form Casserly i.e. and was changed due to an administrative error in the states. Any suggestions appreciated
Thankyou
Paul
Check the 1901 census for both Wynne and Cassidy/Casserly. See if you can match any ofthe names. Also, be aware of their children's names. This might give you a start.
