She left Ireland in 1898.<p>It seems (according to the 1901 census on this site) that almost every Michael Towey in Roscommon married a woman named Bridget. There are 2 that stand out as being in the right age group to be the parents of a child old enough to leave on her own in 1898. Check the other names in the household for possible siblings.
