I am researching my g-grandfather Thomas Neary who emigrated from Roscommon to Baltimore MD in 1852. He supposedly sailed on the Scotia out of Liverpool arriving in April or 1852. He met Elizabeth McGuigan on the trip and married her in December, 1852 at Immaculate Conception Church. They remained in Baltimore in the Fells Point area and had 13 children. Would be interested in hearing from others researching Roscommon immigrants to Baltimore. Would also be interested in hearing if these two appear as marriage witnesses or Baptismal sponsors in other records in Baltimore.<p>I apologize for posting this twice the other day.
