Where is Clevree, Sligo

We are trying to find where Clevree is located and don't find anything resembling it in County Sligo. We have a relative with family from that area and that's the information they have and it may not be correct. Please reply to mizencomputers@eircom.net. Thank you.

It is because of this issue that the<br>IreAtlas townland database was developed using various search<br>methods.<p>Select Sligo from the drop down county menu and then enter the letters<br>"Cle" in the townland field (leave out the quotes!). Then select<br>"At BEGINNING of field" from the drop down search method menu. Make<br>your selection from the list of possible choices that are returned<br>and remember that spelling IS AN ISSUE.<p>You can click on the link below to go directly to the IreAtlas database.<p>Good luck with your research.<p>Ed Finn<br>

Are you sure it's Sligo??? In Leitrim the adjoining County, there's an area called "Creevelea" - sort of sounds the same!!!!

Thank you.<p>Probably Cleavry, Kilmacallan parish. Now spelled Cleavery and in Castlebaldwin postal district.

:I grew up in sligo and know an area called clevreegh/clevreagh that area includes the race course,the road leading to the holy well,i think it also covers the main sligo graveyard and the g.a.a. playing field......... We are trying to find where Clevree is located and don't find anything resembling it in County Sligo.
