Ormsby and Farlow

Post by Nancy McDonald »

In 1894, Robert ORMSBY, and his wife Mary Jane FARLOW Orsmby and their children, came through Ellis Island in New York, from County Leitrim, Ireland.
Does anyone connect to this family? What town did they come from? I have their children's names, if you are interested.
Thank you,
Nancy McDonald
mcdtax@earthlink.net

In 1692 John Ormsby and Robert Ormsby were Representatives in Parliament for the Borough of Kilmallock. I have also seen the Ormsby name in Dublin Church records. Hope it helps.
Amy
