Additionally, my gr-gr-grandmother was Margaret Callaghan and it is my belief that I am most likely related to all Callaghans in the Lisduff area. I am trying to find information about the family of Thomas Callaghan of Leitrim County. He was born ca. 1841. While still in Leitrim he married Alice (last name thought to be O'Brien). Children included Francis (b. 1867), Alice (b. ca. 1869), Bridget (b. 1873) and Mary. He brought the family to Lowell, Massachusetts. His death certificate gave his father's name as Francis Callaghan. Would love to hear from anyone that might be able to provide more info.
