I am looking for information about Edward Glennan (b. 27 July 1824 d. 19 May 1909)who married Ellen Madden (b. ca 1813; d. 18 Jan 1911) about 1845. She had been previously married and had a daughter (name unknown) who accompanied them to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in April, 1847. The daughter went on to California. Family lore has Ellen from Strokestown, Co. Roscommon. Edward is thought to have come from Co. Roscommon also. In 1850, they were living in Philadelphia with John "Glannin" age 50 and Ellen "Glannin" age 20. Edward & Ellen eventually settled in the Madison, Wisconsin area and raised 5 daughters.
