This is an expanded version of my earlier posting. Any leads would be appreciated.<p>I am looking for help finding the correct birth town and any other information concerning my great grandfather, Thomas ELWOOD (1853-1921), son of John ELWOOD and Catherine HENSEN. Thomas and Mary NOLAN (1855-1930), daughter of Michael NOLAN and Catherine McCLOUGHLIN, migrated to the U.S. and were married in Paterson, NJ. on August 15, 1880.<p>It was thought that Thomas and Mary were both born in Strokestown. I have been unsuccessful confirming this. It is also rumored that Thomas first migrated to Chicago, IL before settling in Paterson, NJ.<p>All help is appreciated.....thank you.
