Seeking info on James Clancy, born around 1825 who married Rose Keaney, probably in the mid-1850's. They had 2 children born in Ireland, Felix and Michael (Michael is my GGfather), moved to Marlborough, Mass, had several more children. Anything you may have will be much appreciated.

There is a good chance that your ancestors come from here, However it will be difficult to trace because there were 50 Clancy households and over 100 Keanys listed in the 1901 cencus.
Before 1901 I expect they were even more numerous!

The Leitrim Genealogy Centre has a record of this marriage from 1856 which probably is from a parish register. See www.irishgenealogy.ie.
According to the National Library of Ireland web site, the parish register of Cloonclare has baptisms from 1841 and marriages from 1850.
