Does anyone have any info on the Author of the above book Fr. James Joseph Gibbons

I don't have information on the author but would be most interested in any information on the book as my family are from the Sliabh Bann area.

Father Gibbons was my grandmother's uncle. He was born in RI. I was able to get the book Slieve Bawn and the Croppy Scout from Boston College Library thru interlending. Father Gibbons died in Denver, Colorado. He wrote another book called Life in the SanJuan. In the Sleive Bawn book he uses family names for the characters. The Gibbons Family is still in Roscommon near Slieve Bawn. ellenlfri@msn.com
