To Kevin Shivnen:<br>Sorry, no e-mail address as yet. My Grandfather John youngest son of John & Jane Tiernan.<br>He had a brother who emigrated to US, I think Detroit. Would like to find out where "Shivnen"<br>sir name originated. My Father's name is Jimmy.

Me father Patrick Francis Shivnen<br> came to Detroit around the 1920's.<br> If I am correct your Aunt is Margarette Curran<br> So you be living in California I guess.<br> I have a sister who has been there since 1957<br> I met your grandad John when he came to N.Y<br> around 1956 and saw him once when I was station<br> in California in the early 1960's<br> Am I correct. I have a heck of a time getting<br>into this network and I am brain dead some times<br> when it comes to computers. Reply back<br> if ye can. <br> Does your Father spell his name Shivnen or <br> Shivnan. I found thru the net via others<br> cousins. That's us. Pops spells it Shivnan, never could figure out why. I am in LA, thought you might be related to Paddy Shivnen. Thanks for the info on the McCrann's.
