Tom,
Taylorstown is in Drum Civil parish and Athlone Catholic parish.

Maps for both parishes are in the map section of the Leitrim-Roscommon website.

If you leave Athlone, heading west to Ballinasloe, about 5 miles out the road you see a sign for Clonown. When you turn in here, you are in Taylorstown ( a townland in the Drum parish)

Tom - I also tried to e-mail you from this site, with no luck. I've been researching Shines in Drum parish. Willing to share what I know with you which would be done more easily with direct e-mail contact. If interested, contact me at: sueshie at yahoo.com

I just noticed your comments referring to the non-functional email feature on this bulletin board. I was unaware that the board was not supporting email. I looked into it when I saw your posting and found that the permissions on the email directory were not proper. I just checked the email feature and it NOW appears to be working. Sorry about the inconvenience.
