Two brothers James and John Cuddy were members of Fuerty Coy, in the 2nd Battalion South Roscommon. (Page 248) Would anybody know were this information came from.
Sam.

Hi Sam,
I am the author of They Put the Flag a-Flyin', and a friend forwarded on to me your question. I looked back in my records and found two places where those Cuddy brothers were named. One reference is from the Pension Papers supplied by the Irish government. The other is a handwritten copy of a Summary of Activities written by the O/C of the Fuerty Company. Unfortunately neither record gave me any hint at all of their activities during the war.
Hope this is helpful.
