hi there, thought i'd try again with a new posting to see if anyone could help me find anything about my roscommon ancestors. the only information i have is my gt.grandfather was called DARBY CRAIG (CREGG) in 1871 aged 25 he married MARY CASSIDY (i think from co. leitrim) his father is also registered as DARBY CRAIG(CREGG) whose occupation is recorded as a cooper does anyone have any idea where he could have been a cooper that might help me to find out where he came from and in 1871 it is stated DARBY snr was deceased.
