Ellen:
You did not indicate the ages for Patrick and Mary Anne in 1901. I did find the record below which would indicate that they
married after the 1901 census was taken on March 31st 1901.

1901 Census Lookup
Roger,
I do not know ages of parents.
All the information I have is from birth certificate for Rose Ann O`Rourke born 1905.
As you say parents must have married after 1901 census, I suppose my next step would be to send off for copy of their marriage certificate.
The information re: Mary Ann Leydon 21 shop assistant looks good.
Perhaps now you may be able to find Patrick who would be unmarried. ?? Rate Collector ??
Thanks for your help.

Going on the assumption that Patrick O'Rourke lived in the same
parish as Mary Anne Leydon, the record below is the closest match. There is no guarantee that this is the correct record unless you know the names of Patrick's parents.

1901 census lookup
Roger,
This Patrick aged 19 could be him, but as you say he could have lived in a different parish.
My only source of information is birth certificate for Rose.
Just a thought, children often named their children after their parents, especially first children.
Mother of Patrick was Rose ??
Is there a record of 1911 census ??
I will have to try and get a marriage certificate for Patrick and Anne.
Thank you for your help.
