Is Aughavas a town land ? If it is is it in Cloone Cival Parish.<br>Then why is it not listed. Is it spelled Aghvas.

It<br>shows RC Church records for the Catholic parish of Aughavas for the period<br>1845-1968 are on LDS microfilm number 1279224. Two chapels – one St. Joseph’s in<br>Aghavas and the other St. Stephen’s in the townland of Rossan in the civil<br>parish of Abbeylara in County Longford. <p>

I see when you entered Aughavas you spelled it Aughvas. That was my mistake. I have cousins from rossan and they say they are in Leitrim.<br>I entered Rossan and came up with nothing.Can you tell me the name of the church before it was St. Stephen's.<br>
