Related Surname Info: The De Freyne (French) estate records for the famil who lived at Frenchpark.There 6/7 boxes of unsorted records in the National Library, Kildare Street, Dublin. They contain original leases from 1800 and have much good stuff in the 1860s onwards. There is great correspondence between De Freyne and the Archbishop of Dublin etc. Many hand written records by DeFreyne and even his sons school report! Avery poignant record from the war front to his wife about sons death etc. Individual lease have surnames of those granted to with some maps in colour for early 1900s. So you can see lots of good material.

Because the boxes are unsorted you have to approach them careful as it is the discretion of the Keeper that they give you access.

The De Freyne estate reference numbers are PC12,079, PC12,080, PC12,080, PC12,082, PC
12,083, PC 12084 (3 boxes).
