My Gt grandfather was Thomas Brennan born approx 1880.
Travelling variety Artist, Concert Promoter/Manager and travelled with his Connaught Bazaar.
Married County Cavan 1907, had 4 children.
Believed he came from a large farm where his father also Thomas was Land Steward.
It's thought Thomas had a brother who was a priest.
Thomas was active in the Old IRA, during the Uprisings he was living in Gt Brunswick St.
Associated with many area's of Ireland, Connaught and Raphoe very significant.
DeFreyne/French/Defrench connection.
