My great grandfather John Gavin and Mary Freebern gave birth to my grandfather Michael Freebern 12 May 1844. He had a brother Robert Gavin who stayed in Ireland. I believe he had 9 children. Someone[s] in his family was connected with the automobile business (in the 1920s). John Gavin was a coach builder by trade, a business needed and therefore allowed! I would like to track this side of the tree.<br>One other point,my grandfather Michael was 12 years old before leaving. His early schooling was at the convent of the Sisters of Mercy. I live in Boston/California.
