Leitrim History

I'm looking for any sources of Leitrim History. My ancestors,<br>DWYER/DYER, MULVANAUGHTY, CULL where from parish Kiltubrid.<p>Some of the info I've found so far is was in the books "The face of time" and<br>"Kiltubrid" by Fr Liam Kelly. I'm looking specifically what Gaelic chiefs or ruling <br>families existed prior to 1700 in South Leitrim.<p>I know that the Reynolds family where among the ruling <br>families of South Leitrim and another sept O'Rouke was <br>in Leitrim.<p>What happened to these septs?<p>Also, how the penal laws effected the people of Leitrim.<p>Thanks,<br>Tom Dyer
