Elwood - Elphin

Post by sioban mullin »

Looking for information on Mary Elwood and family. She and her father(name unknown) were (supposedly) the only family members to survivor the famine. They moved to Dublin where she married James Holden. Any information concerning Elphin Elwoods/Ellwoods would be appreciated.

She married Maurice Elwood on February 16, 1865 in Tulsk, Co. Roscommon. I don't know how common a name Elwood was in Roscommon, but Maurice may have been related to the family you seek.
