James WYNNE, born ca 1800 was living in Ballymote,
co Sligo ca 1850's. He was married to Margaret
CONROY. They had five known children:Michael, Winafred,
Patrick, Ann(a) and Mary. All but James immigrated to
the Luzerne/Susquehanna counties, PA ca 1847 to the 1850's.
James was a school teacher. He was also badly crippled
from a kick in the thigh by a horse. I don't believe
the WYNNE'S are orginally from Ballymote as James was
living with a "cousin" at the time. The WYNNE'S migrated to
NYS living in Norwich, Chenango county, Binghamton, Broome
co, Elmira, Chemung co, Buffalo, Rochester and New York City.
This family is also related to KILLEA'S and MC CORMICK'S but
don't know the connection. They are also related to the
WYNNE'S (John, Dominic and Michael) of Orange co, VT.
Does anyone know of any of these families?

Wynne family from Roscommon
There are three Wynne/Winn families on the Ballykilcline Home page we are looking for. Please see the site. I think we may have a match for the Ireland Wynne surname.
