Fallon, Kenny

Post by Ken Tenore »

maternal greatgrandparents were John Fallon and Bridgit (Kenny) Fallon. They lived in Knockcroghery, Killinvoy. Bridgit Kenney was probably from Corroy.
One of their children, James Charles Fallon (my grandfather),immigrated to Boston MA in 1885 and married a Bessie McCormack from Co. Galway in 1895.
John and Bridgit Fallon probably had at least the following childrten: John (born 11 May 1870), James (born 10 November 1869-71?), a Patrick J, Fallon (brother?) witnessed James' naturalization papers in Boston in 1892 and a Thomas and Bridgit Fallon (brother?) witnessed his marriage in Boston in 1895.
I would appreciate any information on these two families in Roscommon and information on any descendents of Patrick J. and Thomas Fallon who lived in Boston ca. 1885-1930 (James C. died in 1926).

You may the family name that are found on the site below. There are three families listed there that came to US in 1847-8. The number of young men listed maybe of some help as you research. They were all from Roscommon and the McCormick
surname is on the list too.
