I am tying to find a Thomas McManus - I only know he is from Roscommon, came to the US, moved to Malone, NY, worked in a tannery, later moved to Brooklyn, NY, had at least 2 sons: John Arthur, my g-grandfather, and Matthew. He was married to a widow named Mary Madigan Flannigan who had a daughter Katie frm her first marriage. John Arthur would have been born around 1855-1860; and ended up in Salem, MA after marrying a Julia Ward. Thanks for any help!

My great-grandfather married a third wife, somebody McManus. They had a daughter Celia,<br>who had a physical handicap of some sort. The<br>McManus woman has descendents in Co. Cavan that<br>now own my family's old homestead. The current<br>owner is Thomas McManus. Perhaps someone there<br>can help? Good contact is Frank White in Ireland<br>at fwhite@iol.ie.
