Looking for Brackloon in Roscommon.
As retailers say, "You've come to the just right place." The maps are on these pages thanks to Ed Finn and his army of elfin helpers. You'll find five Brackloons in Roscommon if you look.

Looking for Brackloon in Roscommon.
I think you are probably looking for the Townland of Brackloon which is about a mile from Kilmarayl Church (Church of the Holy Trinity) in the Mantua area. In 1997 Mantua National School had a reunion and they produced a wonderful souvenir journal. The school registers are in it going back to 1867 and it lists Sharkeys in Brackloon.
If you write to Michael Mulleady, c/o Postoffice, Ballanagare, County Roscommon, Ireland, perhaps you can order one. There are still a few left.
It is called the "Mantua N.S. Souvenir Book". It is not expensive, 5 Irish Pounds but you would have to add shipping and handling to it.
