Brennans of Roscommon (

My Brennan information begins with Jeremiah and Bridget Kearns<br> who lived Roscommon (perhaps Killukin) <br>about 1820s. Children include Mary (b 1825), Jeremiah (b 1830), <br>Michael (b 1823) and Bridget (b 1836). <br>I believe Jeremiah Sr died in Ireland (can find no record of him)<br> and Bridget came to US with MAry, Bridget and Jeremiah about 1850,<br> settling in Framingham Mass.<br>---MARY never married;<br>---JEREMIAH (Jr) married Catherine Cain (her second marriage) in 1857;<br>they had children including Catherine (b 1858), Frank(B 1860),<br> Jane (b 1862), Ann (b 1864), Elizabeth (b 1859), Michael (b 1868),<br>and MArgaret (b 1866); <br>----MICHAEL apparently married in Ireland and was widowed there;<br>he came to the US in 1872 and married a second time (at age 56)<br> a Canadian Elizabeth ALbert who was age 27; <br>they had children Mary A (b 1880)<br>Samuel J (b 1883), Francis P (b 1885) and Elizabeth (b 1888)<br>----BRIDGET (my ggm) married Patrick Shannon, also of Roscommon, <br>in 1856 and their children included James, Catherine, Mary, Ellen,<br> John, Frank (my gf) and Michael.<br>Would welcome any info on Roscommon/Mass Brennans<br>

Our Brennans also came from Parish Kilglass, Co.Roscommon Ireland . They came to N.Y. on the Creole 1847. William Brennan b.1780 <br> -son Andrew age 20<br> -son Daniel age 24<br> -son Gilbert age 7<br> -son Roger age28<br> -son William age 26<br> -daughter Jane age 18<br>From N.Y. they settled in Fair Haven, Vt. William's daughter, Sabina Brennan Hanley was living there at the time. William's wife Nancy McGuire Had died in Ireland. <br>Michael Hanley also arrived on the same ship .<br>If you have any connection please let me know.<p>
