I am looking for information on Hugh COSTELLO, b 1779 whose son Daniel b. 1809? in Roscommon (Dysart) came to America in 1839. Hugh's daughter married a Lynch and went to Australia. I am going to Roscommon in 1999 and would like to connect to Costellos there.

Galway in the 1900's they moved to California. Tell me something, is Costello an Irish name? I thought it was Italian?
