See p. 84 of "Mid-Connacht - The Ancient Territory of Sliabh Lugha" by Maire McDonnell-Garvey, Drumlin Publications, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim, 1995. I have seen the book in paperback at several bookstores in the U.S. Ms. McDonnell-Garvey's main source on this seems to be the "Outrage Papers" from that time which are housed in Dublin Castle.
