I have a Jane Moore married to Andrew Cafferty living in Oughteragh by the 1833 Tithe Record.
Jane was said to have been born in Scotland, about 1800 or so.
The Cafferty family came from the Dongegal area, or Ulster about that time, after the Orange Order began making life hard for Catholics.
I am in the process of obtaining a microfilm from
LDS to check on a family history book of the Griffin family. A Catherine Moore married him
about 1795.That family came to the USA in the early 1800s.
In the description of the Griffin book,it says the name Cafferty is included, and the family was from the area of Donegal. My thinking is Jane and Catherine could have been sisters. Your Moores seem to fit, same times, and places.
