I am searching for information on Jane Brennan, the <br>daughter of William Brennan who left Ballykilcline in <br>1847 on the Creole with his sons and daughter. The <br>family settled in Fair Haven, Vermont. Some of the <br>family members moved on to other states. I am seeking <br>proof that this Jane Brennan is the same one who married <br>Alexander Mercier in New Haven Co. CT in 1856.

Hi Pat..I am Lisa Brennan, trying to locate decendents of Thomas and Mary Regan Brennan. Thomas and wife Mary were my g-grandparents who left Carrick on Shannon, Roscommon in or about 1895...but I could be wrong about date. They settled in Greenwich, Connecticut, and then New Haven, and had 4 children, my grandfather one of them. The other 3 may have been born on Ireland and were girls...Irene, Lillian, and Cora. My grandfather, Edward James Brennan went back to visit the remaining family of Brennans in in 1914 as a small boy and again in 1965 and had a wonderful time. I apologize if this goes nowhere but we are all from New Haven and I am trying to locate my family who still live in Carrick on Shannon. They wer so happy to see my grandfather in 1965 and they must still be there. I apologize if this goes nowhere, but I thought we should at least meet for future references, if not just to talk about the Brennans of New Haven. Great bunch of Celts!!!
