Went to St.Nathys for a few years, joined Air Corps <br>after which I worked with Saville of Santry, Dublin. Met a Mary Grogan of Sandyford ( her mother came from <br>Tavrane, Kilkelly). We both went to South Africa for 2 years, returning to get <br>married, and to work for Board Na Mona, for one year. Came to Canada in 1969,presently liveing and working <br>in Markham, Ontario,<br>We have 3 children, Neil--25 April 1970, Clare--- 23 Febuary 1972, Sean----15 August 1993.<br> My Father came from Kilmorgan, Ballymote, Co. Sligo B.25 July 1915, apprenticed for Monica Duff's Ballaghaderreen<br>and later managed Duff's Hardware, Bought it out in 195? and changed the name to E.J. Mullen Hardware.<br>My mother operated "The Arcade", sweetshop, cafe.on Cathedral Street.<br>Have sisters Patrica b.1942, Anne b.1949, brother Brian b.1943. None of my family are in Ballaghaderreen now, I go <br>back most years, and hope to back in Sept.<br> Who are you? was your Father in the Insurance Business ? Reply please.

I am planning a trip to Ballaghadereen in October to look for information on my grandmother, Annie Marren (known in the USA as Mearn).<br>Would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who know of a place to stay in Ballaghadereen. I was there once with my parents in 1972, but haven't been<br>back since. Thanks for any suggestions you may have.
