I recently posted a message requesting any help in locating members of the Keaveny family that were known to have lived in the Roscommon and Sligo county areas. I have recently learned the the correct spelling of my families name is "KEAVENY" and not Keavney as I had earlier posted. My family here in the U.S. feels that we still have family members living in the Roscommon area. The family homestead was believed to have been located in Roscommon. With my decendent "Luke Keaveny" having stayed on the land after the rest of the family came to the U.S.. Any help with this search would be of great help to me and I would be most thankful.
