<br>Our Clarke relatives were in NY in 1860's a Hugh Clarke married in Newburgh,NY in 1875. His fathers name was John. He had a brother Patrick and a sister Bridget along with others. I do not know where they were from in Ireland.<p>

Here is my Flood/Clarke connection. Patrick Flood m. Margaret Clarke. Known children were John b. 1856, NYC;Mary b. 1857; Catherine b. 1861; Margaret b. 1865; Mary Elizabeth b. 1862; Ellen b. 1867. There may have been others. <br>Known siblings of Margaret Clarke were Mary;Bridget; Patrick. <br>We also have another Patrick Flood married to a Catharine Clarke in NYC 1840. <br>Does any of this seem to connect for you? My Floods and Clarkes lived in lower Manhattan and later Brooklyn 1840's onward, but I do not know where they all went. <br>
