: Looking for information on Michael Boyd, B. 11/1821, Parents John Boyd (d.2/28/41) & Catherine McDermott (d. 1/12/44) who emigrated from Castlecoote, Roscommon, to Fall River, MA, USA in 1846. Married Bridget Barlow in 1848, D.Nov. 20, 1848 in Woonsocket Falls, RI.: Married Second Wife Margaret Campbell B. 1824, RI, in 1850 (D. Mar. 3, 1899, Mendota, IL) and moved to Mendota, IL where he died in 1889 train accident.: Five Children: Ellen, John, Catherine, Margaret, Michael, JR.: Childhood friend: Michael Branan or Brennan, emigrated from same in 1845, Died in Mendota, IL 1899?I am searching for the parents of Thomas Boyd born 1832 or 1835. Thomas married Anna Killalea in Roscommon in 1856.Children born to them were: John 1858, Michael 1859, Thomas 1861, Anna 1868, Elizabeth 1870, Charles 1872, William 1879 and Margaret 1881. They immigrated to U.S. in 1862 and settled in Hamilton, Ohio.
