According to "Irish Records, Sources for
Family & Local History" by James Ryan mentions
a Catholic parish called Loughlynn and a village
called Loughlinn in the Civil parish of Tibohine,
in the Barony of Frenchpark. The earliest birth
and marriage records are dated April 1817.
The custom back then was that a woman was
married in her home parish not in the husband's
parish.
The address listed in the 1988 edition of the
bookis Rev. Peter Feely, PP, Loughlynn, Castlerea,
Co. Roscommon. You might want to address any
requests to the parish priest for Loughlynn
just in case Rev Feely has been reassigned so
your letter won't follow him to another assignment.
Hope this helps.

peter greene
De Nobis Fabula Narratur
(Their Story is Our Story)
