Someone a while back posted a request for this surname. I have located a Thomas Scally in the Townland of Druminmore, Kilglass parish, Co. Roscommon on the 1834 TAB. Thomas also held a plot with daniel McGuire in Aghoo (?) townland, same Kilglass parish.

I've for ages now it seems tried to find my gggrandfather Michael Scally and his wife Aileen. Their son Eugene Owen, born in Co. Roscommon and his wife Catherine Healy are my ggrandparents who emigrated to South Africa in about 1850. Because I don't have a parish name, I am trying to find Michael Scally through the process of elimination.<br>At present I am trying to locate a Michael and Jane Scally from the parish of Termonbarry.Now Kilglass is the next parish west of Termonbarry.
