CAHALAN/CAHALIN/CAHELIN Roscommon

Searching for Cahalans in County Roscommon. My grandfather was one of 11 children born to Patrick and Maria ( nee Kenny ) Patrick and his family lived in Corracommeen Roscommon. He was born approx 1861 and his father was Peter Cahelin, I have no information as yet on Peter or his family. I know that Patrick and Maria moved to Cloonagh Roscommon where my grandfather ( Daniel ) was born in 1905. Any help would be much appreciated as records are very hard to come by.

I am also looking for info on Cahalans from Roscommon County. I know my GrGrGrandfather James Cahalan, was from Roscommon, He had two brothers I know of, Patrick and Thomas. I will have to look up the related dates. From what I can tell there weren't many Cahalans in Roscommon, mostly in Tipperary, Cork, or Limerick. I am very interested in any info I can find.
