My father's family however grew up only 7 miles from Drumshanbo. My Grandfather's name was John Woods, but I unsure of his father's name. I will try to find out for you. John Woods was born about 1826 and married Catherine O'Neill. They emigrated to Minnesota as did several other of the O'Neills but their son Frank eventually returned to the family farm there and raised a large family.<p>Do you know anything about this family of Woods? I suspect that they are too far away geographically to be your Woods ancestors. Any help would be appreciated.<p>Kathy Clare (Vancouver Canada)<p>
