I am researching my family history and believe my great grandfather John McCormack may have been born in Ballaghadereen around 1831.<p>He was married to a Bridget Kerns or Cairns who was born in Westport around 1839.<p>I do not know whether they were married in Ireland or in England but in 1863 John and Bridget appear to have been living in Stockport where all their children were born and my grandfather and father grew up.<p>If anyone has any information at all which might help me locate my ancestors, it would be very much appreciated.
