Hello to Jim Lyons with family originating in Galway or any other Lyons from Galway/Roscommon area.My Great Great Grandfather was Roderick Lyons, who married Ellen Kelly(possibly Dysart area but unconfirmed) Found later in Clontuskert area Galway. Son Michael Lyons<br>married Eliza Farrell, and their first born daughter was my Grandmother Mary Ellen Lyons who married Martin Cahalin. Have feeling<br>Roderick and Ellen had some of their family in one area<br>(possibly Dysart but open to correction) and then moved to Clontuskert area (Lawrencetown) Need confirmation and re-direction so can search<br>parish records. Can anybody help? Another family story is that there was a connection with Joseph Aloysious Lyons former Prime Minister of Australia.<p>Thanks.
