Can anyone give me any information about the Boher District of Roscommon. What townlands does it include and what is the meaning of the name? Thanks

Thanks<p>I've been there, but everyone just smiled when I asked the same questions, as you did. I think it is just a neighborhood, such as Soho in New york city. It is just outside of Carrick on Shannon toward Boyle. My cousin lives there and his mailing address is Boher, Carrick on Shannon.
