Seeking info on my great-grandfather Peter Kilkenny, born 1843, in Bundarragh (sp??), County Leitrim. He married Mary Ann Sheridan on November 29, 1860. Mary Ann was approx 16 yrs old, the daughter of John Sheridan of Cloughla. They had either ten or eleven children, most of whom immigrated to the United States. Would like information on their oldest daughter, Ellen Kilkenny, immigrated to New York and married a man named Wilkinson (sp?). Also any information on the family of John Sheridan and any siblings of Mary Ann. Also are Cloughla and Cloghlough one and the same townland? Looking for detailed maps of the Leitrim parishes which might show the boundaries of townlands with historical notations as to changes in names and boundaries--if such documents exist. Many thanks.
