Bally League / Ballileague

Post by Dennis Horoho »

Has anyone ever heard of a town in County Rosscommon with the name of Bally League? I am uncertain of the spelling, so it may be Ballileague or something similar.<p>Also, what does 'bally' mean in Ireland?
