To Charles Cicchetti: There have been two postings with reference to the name Doonan. I have been unable to link through and reply. My great grandfather was Edward Doonan (the same?), and he came here in the late 1890's and settled in the northeast. I have little information except that he was from Co. Fermanagh or surrounding areas. I am in the process of gathering information. My name (coincidence?) is Theresa Doonan. Maybe there's a connection.
