Arrived Chicago mid 1850's with Patrick McDermott 1828-1893 and Mary McDermott 1784 or 1895 to 1869 (age at death either 74 or 85 in 1869) joined in Chicago by andrew McDermot(t) 1813-1894 records indicate Andrew arrived upstate New York prior 1847. Anne Married my Great-Grandfather John M. Bywater at Old St. Patrick,s in 1863.
