Looking for Smyths
My great great grandfather was Michel Monahan, who was married to a woman named Mary Smith. I mention this because their son, Michael Monahan,(my great grandfather) married a woman named Catherine Kilkenny. One of Catherine's sisters in turn wed a man named Reynolds. My GGF's small farm is now owned by decendants of the Reynolds family. Do you think there is a connection?
Dominic Monahan
Eugene, Oregon
